Trying to play a little bit of 'catch-up' this week, as I spent a couple of days in Denver, where the Vizsla Club of America were holding their National Specialty show. It was amazing to see so many of those red dogs all in one place. The reason I mention this is because I was asked to make a table centerpiece for the awards banquet. Now I love all different types of crafting - but arranging flowers is just not my 'thing'. So when I saw the the colour inspiration challenge from Caroline on
Paper Craft Weekend Challenge I knew at least the colour scheme of this project. Armed with a few cuts from my svg files (the vizsla silhouette) and a few cuts from my Cricut cartridges, I ran to Michaels, where a lovely lady named Lisa helped me to come up with this.
Here is a close up of the vizsla silhouette, made by tracing a file given to me by my breeder, using SCAL software. The wording was also done with SCAL using Cri-kut gel pens.
I made the mountain range from Everyday Paper Dolls, the lettering is from Opposites Attract, and the number plate is from Holiday Cakes.
I was also asked to make some tags that would hold the information of all the donations made to the trophy fund that would adorn some of the prizes. I used the vizsla svg again, and this is how they turned out.
And a close up.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my projects.
love it all!!
