Fly Me To The Moon Rockabilly Boom

Hi Everyone

It's been a cold and snowy day here in Colorado, so what else is a girl to do but hunker down in her craft room and play?  I recently got some new images from The Stamping Chef, thank you Tamara, and have been itching to play with Rockabilly Boom.  I obviously had my smut queen crown on today, because the sentiment ended up being a little 'saucy'.

The background paper is a file from the Silhouette online store, and I used the Cameo to print n cut my image, then coloured her with ProMarkers.  I have actually mounted her on an action wobble spring.

I created the sentiment using Silhouette sketch pens and a Lettering Delights font called 'Casual'.

This is what is says inside....

Told you it was a bit saucy.  Here is a little video of her 'in action'.

I am entering this card into The Stamping Chef Challenge - 'Anything Goes'.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. I Love ProMarkers - Love Is In The Air
  2. QKR Stampede - Anything Goes
  3. Sister Act Card Challenge -Anything Goes
  4. Outlawz Challenge - Anything Goes

I really love playing with these images, and can't wait to see what some of the upcoming challenges are on TSC Challenge Blog.

Thanks for stopping by today.

See you next time.

Hugs n Kisses Valentine Tag

Hi Everyone

Today Sassy Studios is sponsoring a new challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey, the theme is 'Emboss That.'  I have used Curvy Lingerie Sassy - she was one of the images given away in January, but don't worry if you missed her, she is now available in the store.

The paper I have used is from My Minds Eye and is called 'Lucky in Love".  The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set called 'Alphabet Soup', and the other embellishments are from my stash.  I used my Cameo to print n cut the image and then coloured her with ProMarkers.

I am also entering this tag into the following challenges:

  1. Crafters Cafe Challenge - Use Ribbon/Lace (the ribbon is there on the top of my tag - promise!)
  2. 4 Crafty Chicks - Anything Goes
  3. C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Love/Valentines
  4. Delightful Challenges - Anything But A Card
  5. MilkCoffee Challenge - Valentine's/Love
  6. Stampavie and More Challenge - Valentine's

Thanks for stopping by today to look at my project - I hope you will check out the Sassy Studios Blog and check out what the rest of the DT have been up to.

Until next time.

Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge Part 3 - Elisabete

Hi Everyone

Today I have my final card for Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge using the image 'Cupid Elisabete'.  The challenge is to use 'Ribbon, Red/Pink Flowers.'

The paper I used for this card is called 'Lucky In Love' by My Mind's Eye - and so this dictated the colour scheme for the image - somewhat non-traditional, but I really like it.  I added a swirly bow from a die by Memory Box, and the flowers are made using a die by Elizabeth Crafts.

So  there you have my final card - I really did have a blast colouring these images.  Thank you so much Betty for creating these fun 'Cupids', I can't wait to see what you come up with next month.

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you next time.

Zebra Card - Love To Create Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today we have a new sketch challenge over at Love To Create, and we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps. Here is a look at the sketch.

The image that I chose to work with was Cootsy Creations Zebra - in all honesty I was a little outside my comfort zone with this one, as I wasn't sure I could make this image 'pop'.  Well, thanks heavens for good crafty friends and 'facetime' (thank you DeAnna!)

As you can see I haven't followed the sketch 'exactly' (slap my wrists) - I didn't want to detract from the image.  I think this will make a nice masculine card, and will add a sentiment inside when the need arises.

Thanks for stopping by today, as always I hope you come and join us for the fun over at LTC.

Until next time.

Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge Part 2 - Corinne

Hi Everyone

Here is my second card for the Simply Betty January Fan Page Challenge.  This image is 'Cupid Corinne'.  The challenge for this image is 'Use Red/Pink/White and lots of hearts'.  This time I chose to make a shadow box card using a file from the Silhouette online store.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and again I added clear glitter with the Wink of Stella pen (may be one day I will learn how to capture it in my photos.)  The paper I bought a few years ago from Target in their $1.00 packs.

I used a Memory Box die to cut out the hearts on a bow, and the Cameo to cut the 3 hearts on the lower left hand side.

Thanks for dropping in and checking out my project - next week I will have the final card using 'Cupid Elisabete'.  Until next time.

I Love you ...Every Second...Every Minute...

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place with a project I am very excited about.  When Terri showed me this fun stamp set from Cas-ual Fridays called 'Sands of Time' I just knew I had to play with it.  Here is my card.

How cute is that egg-timer with a little glitter added? And the sentiments are just great.  There are 12 stamps in total in this set.

The sliver 'pointer' on the side slides up and down so that you can position it on the sentiment of your choosing.  Here is a list of  products I used (available at A Scrap N Place)

Silver glitter Card stock
Red designer paper - Authentique Smitten 'Written'
Stamps - Cas-ual Fridays 'Sands of Time'
Red glitter

I made the 'slider' using the Stampin' Up word window punch, a piece of silver cardstock and a heart brad.  The whole piece with the sentiment and egg timer on is popped up on dimensionals to allow the slider to move up and down.

Hope you enjoyed todays project - until next time.

Love To Create - Button it Up Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today we have a new challenge over at Love To Create - the theme is 'Button It Up' - use buttons on your project.  Our sponsor this week is StampArt Design by Kathryne.  The image I have used is called 'Little Bear This Is A Hug'.

I used my Cameo to print the image and coloured him with ProMarkers - then I actually used a pair of scissors to fussy cut him.  All the papers, buttons and thread are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you will check out the rest of the projects over at Love To Create and come and join us for the weeks challenge.

See you next time.

Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge Part 1 - Betty

Hi Everyone

Today I have the first of 3 cards that I have made for the Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge.  For this challenge Betty created 3 super cute Valentine images, which are all initially available at a discounted price - who can resist?

The first image is 'Cupid Betty' and the challenge is to use 'Black/White and a touch of Red or Pink on your image.  Paper-wise anything goes.'  So here is my project.

I used my Cameo to print and cut the image, and then coloured her with ProMarkers - I also used the clear Wink of Stella pens to add a touch of glitter to her dress and wings, which doesn't show up too well in the photo.

How cute is the sentiment?  Betty also includes a sentiment with each of these images.

I had so much fun colouring these images, I hope you will check back next week for what I did with the second image 'Cupid Corinne'.  Until next time.

The Cat's Meow - Sassy Studios FaceBook Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today over on Sassy Studios Facebook page is the beginning of a new monthly progressive challenge.  If you are joining us for the first time, or joined us last month and took part in the challenge you are able to get this months image for free.  All the details on how to get your image are on our Face Book page, I really hope you will come and join in the fun.

The theme for the challenge this month is 'Hearts and a Sassy Sentiment' - here's my card.

I decided to go with some very non-traditional valentine colours because I just love this paper (DCWV 'Natural Stack'.)  I used my Cameo to print and cut the image, coloured her with ProMarkers and added some hearts (sizzix die), ribbon, and a sentiment (computer generated.)  Here is a closer look showing the sparkle on her costume after I went over it with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.

The sentiment inside...

I hope you will pop over and check out all the great inspiration from the rest of the DT.

See you next time.

'Hello' I'm feeling 'Negative'

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place with my first post for 2014 I actually have two projects to show you today, one kind of 'grew' from the other - you'll see what I mean.

My first project is a 'Hello' card made using paper from the Authentique "Irresistible' line.

I love the combination of black, white and red, it's just classical.  Here is a list of products I used (available at A Scrap N Place)

Red  & Black card stock
White designer card stock - Authentique Irresisitible -  'Written'
Black designer card stock - Authentique Irresisitible - 'Passion'
Memory Box Die - Sofia Heart
Crystal gems
'Hello' sentiment stamp (Stampin' Up)

Here is a close-up.

Now I promised you 2 projects, and this second one grew out of the card after I had cut the hearts out. The negative piece (the bit we usually throw away) just looked too pretty not to use, so here is what I came up with.

How simple and cute are those?  Here are a couple close-up pictures where you can actually see the 'bling' a little better.

See you next time.

Step Card With Snowflakes - Love To Create Challenge

Hi Everyone

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge over at Love To Create.  This week the challenge is to make a 'Step Card with Snowflakes' , and we have a new sponsor Artbymiran.  I hope you will check out the store on etsy - there are some wonderful images.

Here is my center-step card.

I used my ProMarkers to colour the image, and added some stickles to the 'snow' to give a little sparkle.  The background paper is from my stash.

Here is a close up for you to see the 'snow' a little better.

Inside the sentiment reads 'There's snowman like you.'

I hope you will come and join us for the challenge over at LTC - see you next time.

Blue With Bling - LTC Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today we have our first challenge over at Love To Create - 'Blue With Bling'.  This week we are being sponsored by Sassy Studios.  The image I choose to use is Tinker Sassy, because she is just perfect to mount on an action wobble spring.

I used my Cameo to print n cut, the coloured her with ProMarkers.  To add a little extra shimmer and shine I used Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen on the wings, dress and boots.  These pens come in a range of colours, but I used clear, and it adds just a touch of shimmer.  The photo doesn't really do it justice, in person the shimmer is so very pretty.

Here is the inside of the card.

Of course I had to play around with Tink a little more, and add an Action Wobble Spring to give her some 'movement'.  Here she is in action.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says - Blues
  2. Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Wings
  3. Eureka Stamps - Blue and Bling
  4. Time 4 Scrap - Any colour with Silver or Gold

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today.  I hope you will join us over at LTC and check out all the projects from the DT.

Until next time.
