Dance Like No One is Watching

Hi Everyone

I have another card today which I did for a challenge over on Mo's Challenge Blog.  The theme for this challenge is 'Lace and/or ribbon with a Mo Image.'  I have used this image several times before (because I love it!)  The sentiment was written with my Silhouette Cameo using the Chomas pen holder and gel pens,  the paper is from My Minds Eye stack called 'So Sophie', and of course I coloured it with ProMarkers.

I have this card in mind for a friend who I know will appreciate the humour - here is a look at the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Get Your Wobble On (and get some blog candy)

Hi everyone, Today I am guest designer over at Papercraft Weekend Challenge.   I thought that I would have a little fun with some Action Wobble Springs.  I love these little 'do-dads', and am always looking for ways to use them.  Don't worry if you haven't got any, here is a great tutorial for making your own Make your own wobble springs.

I have this wonderful image from Mo Manning, and I think she is just 'crying out' for an Action Wobble spring.  This is what I did with her.

I colored her with ProMarkers, and cut her out - separating her body from her legs.  I then stuck the legs to the card base, put an Action Wobble Spring on her body and positioned her so that her body slightly overlapped her legs.  The sentiment is from stamp set called 'Life is Short' (The Angel Company.)  Click on the image below to see her in action, sorry the video is awful quality.

So there you have it, I hope I have inspired you to 'get your wobble on'.  I have some blog candy to give away - a box of Action Wobble Springs, and few more surprise goodies.  All you have to do is leave a comment on my post at Papercraft Weekend Challenge and post your 'wobble' project.  I will randomly select a winner and post on the blog Monday 18th June.

Until next time.

Tickle My Funny Bone - the challenge I forgot!

A couple of weeks back the challenge on Mo's Challenge Blog was "Tickle My Funny Bone".  I loved this theme, so set about colouring some of her cute images with my ProMarkers .  I actually made up 4 different cards with 3 of Mo's images and a paper pack I bought from Target, (you know the 99c ones.)  I couldn't decide which one to photograph and post, so set about doing something else and then promptly forgot about it.  Here are the cards that I made.

Attitude Is Everything Card

Decided to step a little bit out of my 'comfort zone' with my ProMarkers today and use colours that I don't normally gravitate towards.  I reached for 'Mandarin' and 'Bright Green' - what do you think?

I haven't coloured dark skin much either, but found a great tutorial here from the Letraset website.  I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out (but then again it is hard not to fall in love with these Mo's images.)

Thanks for taking a peek.

Live Out Loud Card

I had originally intended to make a card for Kymberlee's challenge over on Paper Craft Weekend Challenge.  Her challenge was to create anything with a MONOCHROME theme.  Well I started off with good intentions, choosing purple, and then I just got carried away with my ProMarkers and choosing more colours..... this was the end result.

I love the way the card turned out, and have decided to put it in the colour combo challenge over on Mo's Digital Challenge.

The paper I used for this card is from a 6x6 designer pad called 'So Sophie' (My Minds Eye), the sentiment is from a TAC set called 'Life is Short', and the main image is a Mo (love those images of hers) called 'Come Out and Play.'

Here are some close-ups of the details.

The flower punch is by EK Success, the button brads are from my stash and the oval was cut on my trusty Cameo.

Thanks to Kymberlee and Mo's DT for the inspiration.

Six (6) cards to share - call me a colouring fool!

Over the past couple of weeks I have been playing with my new ProMarkers, colouring both stamped and digital images.  I love the way these colours blend, and want to give a shout out to Kymberlee from The Paper Midwife and Kate from Sassy and Scrappy - who both helped me with some colouring techniques on my recent trip to Florida.  These ladies are both very talented and I recommend you take a peek at their blogs.

First here is a look at my new 'babies' in their case.

Many of these pens were a gift from my friend Cheryl in the UK - who I'm sure is expecting lessons with them when she comes out here in the summer :)

So basically I have become a colouring 'fool', and a little bit of a paper snob - preferring Bee Paper to almost anything else (it's all Kymberlee's fault!)

Here are the cards.

The image and sentiment for both these cards is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, all the paper is from my stash, the butterflies from a Martha Stewart punch decorated with stickles, and the front of the purple card is embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.

These images are from Mo's Digital Pencil - she has some gorgeous digital images available (I dare you to go look and be able to resist.)  The sentiment stamp on the second card is from a Stampin' Up Set called "Happy Harmony".

Another one from Mo's Digital Pencil (I just love this image - maybe because it reminds me so much of the antics of my youngest when she was this age!)  The paper is from Target (the $1.00 packs), Prima flower, gem brad from Joann's, and the sentiment is computer generated.

My last card is also an image from Mo's Digital Pencil, called "Extra!"  This image is great and just what I needed to make a more masculine card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
