'Beary Cute Couple' (LTC - Stampart by Kathryn)

Hi Everyone

Welcome to a new Love To Create challenge.  The theme for our challenge this week is to 'Fussy Cut Something' on your project -so excited for this as I love 'fussy cutting'.  Our sponsor for this week is Stamp Art Design By Kathryn.

Here is my card.

This image is called 'Christmas Smoochy Bears' aren't they adorable?  I coloured their fur with ProMarkers and then paper pieced their clothes.

The paper I used is from a 6x6 paper pack from Echo Park called 'Keepin' Cosy', the white trim to the hats and coats is made with Tulip puffy paint. Just added some ribbon, bells and a stamped sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project, I hope you will join us for the challenge.

See you next time.

'Sweet Talk' (DTBST #247)

Hi Everyone

It's Thursday so time for a new DTBST challenge over at Sassy Studio Designs.  Our theme this week is to 'Add a Banner' to your project.

For this project I used the adorable 'Sweet Talk Sassy' - I cut her out by hand and coloured her with ProMarkers.  The background paper is from  SEI and is called 'Granny's Kitchen'.  I used more of the background paper and some alphabet stickers to make the 'sweet talk' banner.

I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge and a chance to win some of these sassy images for your very own.

Thanks for stopping by today - see you next time.

Hot Under The Collar Guys (Part 3)

Hi Everyone

Today I am designer over at A Scrap N Place - Terri, thank you as always!  I have another cute guy today, and if you are a Dr Who fan you're gonna love this one!

This is Andrew which was the very first guy stamp from C Thru The Woods.  I fussy cut the image, and paper pieced him with papers from my stash.  The Police Box (TARDIS) is a studio file (for the Silhouette Cameo) that I made, and is available by clicking on the tab 'Files to share' at the top of the blog.

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you next time.

'Fortunate' (LTC - Stitchy Bear)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create, and this week we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps.  Our theme this week is to 'Add Some Lines' - I have to admit I was rather scratching my head over this one for a different way of adding those lines.  This is what I came up with.

This image is called 'Geisha Girl' by Alipeeps.  I kept the colour scheme to blues and grey, and used strips of paper to add some lines to the background.

The sentiment stamp is from my stash, originally purchase I believe from M's and the background paper is from K & Company.

As always I hope you will join us for the challenge, we always enjoying looking through all your projects.  If you are looking for some inspiration check out the DT's projects over at LTC.

Thanks for stopping by, see you next time.

Sketch It Up (DTBST #246)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge over at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is to use this sketch.

Here is the card I made using Olaf the snowman.

The background paper for this is from and old DCWV Christmas stack.  The silver background I ran through a snowflake embossing folder and mounted the image on an action wobble spring.

I added a couple of swirls (Impression Obsession Die), some snowflakes (Martha Stewart Punch) and of course a little 'bling'.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project today.  Don't forget to pop over to Sassy Studio Designs to join in with the challenge and check out the rest of the DT's projects.

Hot Under The Collar Guys (Part 2)

Hi Everyone

Today I am the designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always Terri, thanks for having me.

I have another guy for you today to get 'hot under the collar' over - this time it is Michael from C Thru The Woods.

Don't you just love him in those geeky glasses?  All papers are from my stash, as are the 'brad glasses'.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for stopping by today - see you next time.

May Your Day Bloom With Happiness

Hi Everyone

For our new challenge today over at Love To Create we have 3 terrific sponsors A Day For DaisiesFlourish With A Bling and Yours or Mine Paper Crafts.  This week the theme for our challenge is "Flowers and Stitching".  I was so lucky to get to create with this beautiful new image from ADFD, she is called 'Aloha Petals'.

The background paper I have had in my stash for ages, and the sentiment is from a SU set called 'Blooming With Happiness'.

I made the poppy using the Britannia Rose die - there is a great video tutorial for it here.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and I added the faux stitching around the edge.

I hope you will pop over to LTC and check out the rest of the beautiful projects by the DT and join in with the challenge.

See you next tiem.
