Wedding Day Dolls(A Scrap N Place)

Hi Everyone

I want to start by saying thank you once again to Terri for having me as a designer over at A Scrap N Place.  My final card for this month is a wedding card, using both a Prima Doll Stamp 'Tasha' and one of the guy stamps 'Alex' from C Thru The Woods.

The background paper for this is one that I had in my stash, but Terri has plenty of beautiful papers similar to this with script on that would work beautifully.

The dolls are both cut by hand, coloured with ProMarkers (any alcohol markers will do) and the clothing paper pieced.  Here you can see a close-up of the bouquet which I made using a small flower punch and a Cheery Lynn 'Wreath Strip' border die (plus some little pearls of course!)  The dress is cut from vellum and stamped and embossed ('Soft Swirls' background stamp from SU, and white embossing powder.)

At the top I used a couple of Memory Box dies for the hearts & bow and birds.

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today.  Until next time.

Sharing a Slice of Summer Lovin' (LTC Challenge)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create, our theme this week is 'Summer Lovin' ', and we are being sponsored by QKR Stampede.

I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it, and knew it was just right for this weeks theme.  The image is called 'Sharing a Slice.'

The image is coloured with ProMarkers and both papers are from my stash.  The sentiment is from an old (but one of my most favorite) stamps sets by The Angel Company called 'Life is Short.'

I hope you will check out the rest of the projects from the DT, and come on over to LTC to join us for the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Trip To The Mailbox (A Scrap N Place)

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always Terri, thank you for having me.  I have another Prima doll card for you, using some of the new Authentique papers and a die from Marianne Designs.

I love the details on these dies, the mail box doesn't show very well in the photo, but the envelope shows up better.

I cut out the image by hand, coloured her with ProMarkers (any alcohol markers will work) and her clothes are paper pieced with Authentique paper 'Favorite'.

Thanks for stopping by today, see you next time.

Sassy Studios Flashback Friday - Little Air Force Honey

Hi Everyone

Welcome to another Flashback Friday over at Sassy Studios and this week we are showcasing Air Force Honey.

I have yet another tag!

Once again the background is from the Silhouette online store, and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.  For the sentiment I used rub-ons - didn't have a personal flashback this week as I found the rub-ons when I did last weeks project.

If you want to take advantage of obtaining this weeks image at a reduced price - 'fly' over to the store today and grab her while you can.

See you next time.

Sassy Studios July FaceBook Challenge - Patriotic Pin-Up

Hi Everyone

Over on the Sassy Studios FaceBook Fan Page we are starting a new challenge for the month of July with Patriotic Pinup Sassy.

I made a star-shaped card, and covered it with some patriotic paper from my stash, and used just the 'legs' of the image on the front.

When you open up the card, this is what it looks like.

I used my cameo to print n cut the image.  Wouldn't this be great for an invitation for a summer barbecue?

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project.  Patriotic Pinup Sassy is available for a discounted price for the whole month so that you can join in with the challenge - we love seeing what you create.

Until next time.

"Your Kindness Means So Much" (A Scrap N Place)

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always Terri thank you for putting up with me again!

I have another card today using the 'Mod Flower Border' from Memory Box.  I decided to play around with some acetate and place the flowers in a 'window'.

The paper is from Authentique called 'Favorite', and the sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up.  It is difficult to see in the photo by there really is some acetate in there!

Thanks for stopping by today - hope to see you next time.

The Wedding Night Gift Bag - Love To Create Challenge

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create, and this week we are being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs.  The theme for this weeks challenge is to use 'Pearls and Petals'.  I have used one of the images from the last release for this project The Wedding Night.

I made the bag from black card stock, coloured the image with ProMarkers, decorated the veil with stickles and added a string of pearls for the handles.

This is the tag on the back of the bag - the sentiment is created on my Cameo using the Silhouette sketch pens.

In case you were wondering, inside I am going to put some earplugs!

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today, don't forget to check out the projects from the rest of the DT and join us over at LTC for this weeks challenge.

See you next time.

Sassy Studios Flashback Friday - Little Army Honey

Hi Everyone

Welcome to another Sassy Studios Flashback Friday - today we are featuring Army Honey.

I have made another simple tag.

This time my personal 'fashback' came in the form of the paperclip alphabet I used to spell out 'army' - I have had them in my stash for years, and when I remembered them I thought they would be perfect for this project.

The background is a file from the Silhouette online store, and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.

So what are you waiting for?  You know the 'drill' (pun intended!)  Head on over to the Sassy Studio Store and pick up this little cutie at a reduced price for a limited time.

See you next time.

So Many Men... (A Scrap N Place)

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - thanks Terri for having me.  I have a little tag made with one of the Prima dolls that I have never used before.  Becky the cowgirl - she fits in perfectly here in July with her red white and blue outfit, and with it being rodeo season here in Colorado, the sentiment is just right too!

I coloured the image with my ProMarkers (but any alcohol markers would work just as well), Her facial features are a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps and the sentiment is a stamp from Rubber Romance (this could also be computer generated.)

Here are a couple of close-ups.

Here are a list of supplies used (all available at A Scrap N Place)

Prima Doll Stamp - Cowgirl Becky
Glitzy paper pack (6x6)
Ribbon
Twine

Thanks for stopping by to Check out my project today.  See you next time.

'Bloom'

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always Terri thank you so much for having me.

I have 2 cards for you today using the Memory Box Die called 'Mod Flower Border'.  They are both fairly simple cards, but I got to play with some spray inks to make some very pretty effects.

All that was needed to finish off the cards was a little ribbon and some bling!

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.
