New Kids On The Block? (A Scrap N Place)

Hi Everyone

Looking at my projects today for A Scrap N Place, you could be forgiven for thinking that there were some new Prima doll stamps on the block (yes, pun intended!)  Nope!  No new dolls, but these projects are created from a 'mash-up' of these stamps.

I just got to thinking how much fun it would be to mix and match these little cuties, and here is what I came up with...

Here is a closer look.  I used some sunglasses brads, the hat and bag are from the Prima 'Boutique' set.  If you look closely you will see that the chain on the bag is cut from the 'Birdhouse Village' die from Memory Box that I used last week.  The paper is by BoBunny 'Primrose'.

My second tag couldn't be more different, even though I used the same stamps.  All papers for this were from my stash.

With hair like that you can bet that this young lady has attitude!

With just a few snips here and there you can make your doll stamps go so much further - let me know what you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by.

More Birdhouses

Hi Everyone

Back today with a couple more cards for A Scrap N Place.  Once again I am using the Memory Box die 'Birhouse Village'.

These dies are such fun to play with, I loved mixing and matching the papers for the houses (Bo Bunny 'Primrose'.)  Here are a couple of close-ups.

I used an embossing folder on the background and cut the grass strip with scissors.

The branch on this card is also a Memory Box die, the flowers are punched using a Marvy punch and the sentiment is a stamp from Stampin' Up.

Thanks Terri for having me over at your blog today, and thank you for stopping by to check out my projects.

Thanks Berry Much

Hi Everyone

Here is my project today for A Scrap N Place, as always thanks for having me Terri.  I actually made this project using my Silhouette Cameo, but there are plenty of templates for this that you can cut by hand if you do a search on the internet.

These are great little favors to make, and with the Cameo you are able to re-size them to fit different types of goodies inside.  These are a bit on the larger size so that they can hold a Ferrero Rocher chocolate.

After I cut out the template I ran it though the 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder.  I threaded green embroidery floss through the holes and tied it together, place the leaf on top and then the little label (the sentiment is computer generated, and punched out with the tiny tag punch from Stampin' Up.)

Thanks 'berry much' for stopping by today.

Happy 'Bird Day' (and a couple of extras)

Hi Everyone

Well after a long absence I am finally back to crafting - breaking both of your arms can seriously put a 'kink' in your crafting ability!

This is my first post back as designer for A Scrap N Place, and so I thought that I would spoil Terri with 3 projects!  My first is a very simple birthday card using the new Memory Box die 'Birdhouse Village'.

How cute are those little houses?  The paper I used is from BoBunny called 'Primrose'.

I love the colours in this paper, so I got a little carried away and made two more projects with it.

These little treat holders are made using the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.  I took at 5" square sheet of paper, punched and scored it at 2.5" on all four sides - just fold, stick in place, and there you have it.  I just added a couple of butterflies (Martha Stewart punch) and a little bling.

The second treat holder I secured with a bow (also made using the punch board) on a 'belly band'.

These are so simple to make, a quick search on Pinterest will lead you to a ton of tutorials that will have you making these up in no time at all.

See you next time.
