As soon as I saw this advent calendar on
SVG Cuts. I just knew that I had to have it. I had wanted to try and design something of my own but never really had time (or probably enough computer savvy). This svg file makes it so easy (seriously!) I will admit that when I first downloaded the file and looked at it, I was pretty nervous that I wouldn't know where to begin - but the instructions are very clear and the video on the website (which I thoroughly recommend you watch
before you start) is great. The only problem I had was deciding which paper to use.
This calendar is for my daughter who is at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA (Go Loggers!) Once I had found The Black Currant Stack from Die Cuts With A View, I knew it was just right for her.
Here are a few of pictures with the doors open and items inside.
I can't wait to start searching for all kinds of fun things to put inside each box - lip balms, small bottles of nail polish, candy, etc.
I am currently working on a second calendar for my youngest daughter and will post pictures when I'm finished.
Thanks for visiting :)
