Merry and VERY Bright

Hi Everyone

Today Sassy Studios is sponsoring the challenge over at Just Inspirational - 'Use Washi/Fabric Tape'.  I bought myself some washi tape a while back, and I used it on some card projects here - but then I put it in the drawer and forgot about it.

There are so many fun ways to use washi tape, that when I go in search of ideas, I quickly become overwhelmed.  But I persevered, and searched "using washi as a background" - very quickly I had my card base.

I choose my half dozen or so washi tapes, and then stuck them on four squares measuring 2.5 x 2.5 inches.  I arranged the squares on my black card base, and voila a bright and colourful backround.  The image I used is Candy Cane the Sassy Elf, one of the images from our latest release.

I don't usually play with a lot of bright colours, certainly not this combination - but I loved the way this turned out.

I hope you enjoyed today's project.  See you next time.

  1. SO cute, Michelle! Love all the different, bright washi tapes you used. How clever!!!

  2. oooh, I love the non-traditional colours. It looks awesome and I think I'll be lifting your idea. Thanks so much for sharing!!! Hugs, Melissa DT JIC
