Welcome to the "80's To The Max' Blog Hop" - this is a combined blog hop between Sassy Studio Designs and The Corrosive Challenge Blog. Lindsay has created some fabulous images for this new release - a real 'blast from the past', so hop along with us to see all the great creations, reminisce a little, leave some comments and win some prizes. If you have arrived here from Judy's blog you are on the right track, if you've stumbled across this by chance you may want to go back to the beginning and start at Sassy Studio Designs.
I love all the images in this release - but I was so excited when I got this image to create with.
I just love Jessica Rabbit! The only thing I was worried about when colouring her, was her hair - but I am pretty pleased with the way it came out in the end. I spent quite a bit of time on the internet looking at images of her so that I could her sparkly dress and purple opera gloves just right. The whole image is coloured using ProMarkers, I used Diamond Stickles (painted on with a brush) to add sparkles to her dress, and Glossy Accents to add shine to those shoes. The sentiment is created using Silhouette sketch pens and 'Tall Girl' Lettering Delights font. The background paper is from K & Company ('Cupid Specialty Pack') and then I used some rub-ons from my stash to put numbers on the dots.
Then on to the inside...
The image of Roger Rabbit is a children's colouring page that I downloaded from the internet.
I had just one more piece of this patterned paper left and so I decided to finish the project off with a matching envelope.
I hope you will join us for the challenge which is on the Corrosive Challenge Blog (there are freebies available,) and continue to enjoy all the fabulous creations from both Design Teams. Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog, and try to answer the trivia questions on the first and last blog for a chance to win prizes (and there are lots of prizes up for grabs!)
