I am so excited to tell you that I am now on the Creative Fingers Challenge Blog Design Team!
I am thrilled to be working with such a talented bunch of ladies, I hope you will stop by the Creative Fingers Challenge Blog to check out all their creations and join in with the challenges. The sponsor for this month is Lacy Sunshine, and I have used one of my favorite images 'Chef Lola' - although this is one of the 'retiring images' she is still available for $1.00 in the store.
I thought that I would use her to decorate my acetate cupcake box (this box is a file from the Silhouette online store.) I tried several test cuts with my Cameo on the acetate with varying rates of success, the setting I ended up using (and also installed as a 'custom setting') was Speed 1, Thickness 33, Blade Depth 8 and double cut. But a word to the wise - DO NOT UNLOAD YOUR MAT UNTIL YOU ARE SURE IT HAS CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH, on one piece I did end up going over once more with a single cut.
The 'naughty cupcake' is actually a pair of silky panties! Well I've made cupcakes with baby onsies and bibs, but thought that this would make a fun bachelorette gift. I used my Cameo to print n cut the image, and then coloured her with ProMarkers.
I would like to enter this project into the following challenges:
- Creative Moments - Anything But A Card
- Pollycraft Challenges - Ruby Red
- Sparkle N Sprinkle - Anything But A Card
Thanks for stopping by today.
Michelle
