I guess I may need to explain this card a little, unless of course you are English, then you will understand. This card is for a friend who has a 21st birthday coming up next month. I have also entered this card into the 2nd Cameo Spotlight Challenge - the theme for this challenge is 'Numbers'.
In England 'cupcakes' are quite commonly called 'buns' - I thought it would be a cute play on the words '21 Gun Salute.' I know that the recipient will appreciate my sense of humor.
The card is made completely with files from the online Silhouette store and cut using my Cameo. The papers I used are Brown Silky Smooth (DCWV), Pink Glitter (Colorbok), Silver Glitter (DCWV), Maroon (SU), Cream and Pink dotted paper (Bazzil).
All the numbers are rub-ons , the font is 'Purkey' (American Craft), and the pearls on top are made from White Pearl 'Beads in a Bottle (Tulip.) The 'buns' and the stand are mounted on dimensionals.
The frame around the edge of the card is also a silhouette file.
Here is a look at the inside.
Thanks for stopping by today - until next time.
Michelle
