Fly Me To The Moon Rockabilly Boom

Hi Everyone

It's been a cold and snowy day here in Colorado, so what else is a girl to do but hunker down in her craft room and play?  I recently got some new images from The Stamping Chef, thank you Tamara, and have been itching to play with Rockabilly Boom.  I obviously had my smut queen crown on today, because the sentiment ended up being a little 'saucy'.

The background paper is a file from the Silhouette online store, and I used the Cameo to print n cut my image, then coloured her with ProMarkers.  I have actually mounted her on an action wobble spring.

I created the sentiment using Silhouette sketch pens and a Lettering Delights font called 'Casual'.

This is what is says inside....

Told you it was a bit saucy.  Here is a little video of her 'in action'.

I am entering this card into The Stamping Chef Challenge - 'Anything Goes'.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. I Love ProMarkers - Love Is In The Air
  2. QKR Stampede - Anything Goes
  3. Sister Act Card Challenge -Anything Goes
  4. Outlawz Challenge - Anything Goes

I really love playing with these images, and can't wait to see what some of the upcoming challenges are on TSC Challenge Blog.

Thanks for stopping by today.

See you next time.

Hugs n Kisses Valentine Tag

Hi Everyone

Today Sassy Studios is sponsoring a new challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey, the theme is 'Emboss That.'  I have used Curvy Lingerie Sassy - she was one of the images given away in January, but don't worry if you missed her, she is now available in the store.

The paper I have used is from My Minds Eye and is called 'Lucky in Love".  The sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set called 'Alphabet Soup', and the other embellishments are from my stash.  I used my Cameo to print n cut the image and then coloured her with ProMarkers.

I am also entering this tag into the following challenges:

  1. Crafters Cafe Challenge - Use Ribbon/Lace (the ribbon is there on the top of my tag - promise!)
  2. 4 Crafty Chicks - Anything Goes
  3. C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Love/Valentines
  4. Delightful Challenges - Anything But A Card
  5. MilkCoffee Challenge - Valentine's/Love
  6. Stampavie and More Challenge - Valentine's

Thanks for stopping by today to look at my project - I hope you will check out the Sassy Studios Blog and check out what the rest of the DT have been up to.

Until next time.

Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge Part 3 - Elisabete

Hi Everyone

Today I have my final card for Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge using the image 'Cupid Elisabete'.  The challenge is to use 'Ribbon, Red/Pink Flowers.'

The paper I used for this card is called 'Lucky In Love' by My Mind's Eye - and so this dictated the colour scheme for the image - somewhat non-traditional, but I really like it.  I added a swirly bow from a die by Memory Box, and the flowers are made using a die by Elizabeth Crafts.

So  there you have my final card - I really did have a blast colouring these images.  Thank you so much Betty for creating these fun 'Cupids', I can't wait to see what you come up with next month.

Thanks for stopping by today.  See you next time.

Zebra Card - Love To Create Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today we have a new sketch challenge over at Love To Create, and we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps. Here is a look at the sketch.

The image that I chose to work with was Cootsy Creations Zebra - in all honesty I was a little outside my comfort zone with this one, as I wasn't sure I could make this image 'pop'.  Well, thanks heavens for good crafty friends and 'facetime' (thank you DeAnna!)

As you can see I haven't followed the sketch 'exactly' (slap my wrists) - I didn't want to detract from the image.  I think this will make a nice masculine card, and will add a sentiment inside when the need arises.

Thanks for stopping by today, as always I hope you come and join us for the fun over at LTC.

Until next time.

Simply Betty Stamps January Fan Page Challenge Part 2 - Corinne

Hi Everyone

Here is my second card for the Simply Betty January Fan Page Challenge.  This image is 'Cupid Corinne'.  The challenge for this image is 'Use Red/Pink/White and lots of hearts'.  This time I chose to make a shadow box card using a file from the Silhouette online store.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and again I added clear glitter with the Wink of Stella pen (may be one day I will learn how to capture it in my photos.)  The paper I bought a few years ago from Target in their $1.00 packs.

I used a Memory Box die to cut out the hearts on a bow, and the Cameo to cut the 3 hearts on the lower left hand side.

Thanks for dropping in and checking out my project - next week I will have the final card using 'Cupid Elisabete'.  Until next time.

I Love you ...Every Second...Every Minute...

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place with a project I am very excited about.  When Terri showed me this fun stamp set from Cas-ual Fridays called 'Sands of Time' I just knew I had to play with it.  Here is my card.

How cute is that egg-timer with a little glitter added? And the sentiments are just great.  There are 12 stamps in total in this set.

The sliver 'pointer' on the side slides up and down so that you can position it on the sentiment of your choosing.  Here is a list of  products I used (available at A Scrap N Place)

Silver glitter Card stock
Red designer paper - Authentique Smitten 'Written'
Stamps - Cas-ual Fridays 'Sands of Time'
Red glitter

I made the 'slider' using the Stampin' Up word window punch, a piece of silver cardstock and a heart brad.  The whole piece with the sentiment and egg timer on is popped up on dimensionals to allow the slider to move up and down.

Hope you enjoyed todays project - until next time.
