Hi Everyone
Today is my last post of the year for A Scrap N Place - thank you Terri, this past year has been a blast. Today's tag is also my post for C Thru The Woods. My inspiration for this tag came from Pinterest.
How cute do this couple look, celebrating the new year in the city?
The city skyline, clock, fireworks and 2015 are cut using files from my Silhouette Cameo.
See you all next year.

A Project That Will Make You 'Crackers'! - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always thank you Terri I am so happy to be here. This is a quick project today that you can make using a few scraps of paper, after all with 'the big day' only 48 hours away who has time for elaborate projects?
These little crackers would look so pretty on the Christmas table, one for each guest maybe? They are made using a few scraps, a liitle bling, some ribbon and the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.
They really are simple, just follow the video tutorial here.
Wishing You All The Very Merriest Christmas.

Santa is coming....
Hi Everyone
Today I have a card using Kris, the newest guy stamp from C Thru The Woods. This is a fairly simple card using a couple of dies from Memory Box (the window and stairs) I added the cheeky face to Kris using a stamp from Peachy Keen - how cute does Santa look peeking through the window?
I certainly remember saying this to my own girls when they were younger.
Thanks for stopping by today to check out my project.
See you next time.

'Credit Cards Have A Limit?' Card - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - thanks Terri for having me. No month as guest designer for Terri would be complete if I didn't make at least one project using a Prima Doll stamp (you know how I love them!)
Don't you just love the colours on these Bo -Bunny papers? I couldn't resist giving her a cheeky face using some Peachy Keen stamps and a sentiment that I created using my Silhouette Cameo.
I actually made this into an easel card, so that it could stand up and you could see the sentiment inside.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

The Ugly Christmas Sweater
Hi Everyone
Today I have a new project with Michael one of the guys stamps from C Thru The Woods. As Christmas rolls around, so too does the time to break out the 'ugly Christmas sweater', well I just had to dress up one of the guys for this (sorry Michael!)
I decorated up this wine bag to take to a party we will be attending soon - maybe the winner of this competition won't enjoy winning the title, but I hope they will enjoy the prize!
Here are a couple of close-ups.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

Tree Tags - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
It's Tuesday, so time for me to be guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - thank you Terri. Following on from my card last week made using the Sparkling Tree Tile die from Memory Box, I wanted to share the two tree tags I made.
These are so simple, and can be made with a few scraps that you can co-ordinate with any colour of gift wrap.
You could even turn these into ornaments for the tree. Terri has a great selection of glittery papers, vellums and a variety of 'bling' that would be perfect for these.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you next time.

So Many Men...(and a little something extra!) - C Thru The Woods
Hi Everyone
Today I have another card for you using Cowboy Dan from C Thru The Woods. I have a few cowboy/cowgirl sentiment stamps in my collection, and I thought this would be great to use with this stamp.
It is fun to sometimes just use part of these stamps - just to change things up a bit. The background kraft card stock I ran through a 'wood texture' embossing folder, I stamped the legs several times (masking as I went) and then coloured them with ProMarkers. Here is a look at the inside.
So what about the little something extra? A couple of weeks ago I used Drake to make this Phantom Tag, and said that I had other plans for him. Well here he is, sporting a very different look.
Can't you just imagine him in his show in Vegas in this get up?
I hope you have enjoyed both of my projects today. Until next time.

Simple Blue and White Card - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place, as always thank you Terri for having me. Today I have a very simple blue and white card made using the 'Sparkling Tree Tile' die from Memory Box. I wasn't quite sure about using this die initially, but then an idea struck me and I just had to go with it.
Just simply by adding some glitter cardstock and pearls to the blue and white colour scheme really made this card 'pop'. Here is a closer look.
The sentiment is embossed in fine detail silver embossing powder.
I also wanted to give another little plug for a fun competition Terri is currently holding in the store with these cute little snowmen tree ornaments.
If you buy one of these kits ($3.99) - bling it up make it your own and take it back into the store to enter the contest. There is a $25.00 gift certificate up for grabs and a chance to win this cute layout.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my project. See you soon.

Timmy Doesn't Do Mornings - C Thru The Woods
Hi Everyone
Just a quick card this morning to share with you, and what I have done with Timmy one of the latest stamps from C Thru The Woods.
I thought he would look cute in his PJ's with a coffee cup in hand. The clock is a file from the Silhouette online store, and the sentiment is computer generated.
Here is a look at the inside, which has a pocket, the perfect place for a Starbucks card to 'hide'.
Thanks for stopping by today - see you next time.

Happy Holidays from a 'Tartan Miss' - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - thank you Terri. My card today is probably one of my very favorite, probably because it uses one of the new Prima dolls, but also because I love this Authentique 'Believe' paper.
How cute is she dressed in her tartan outfit? The hat is actually part of the set included with the Prima 'Dog Treats' stamp set, and the bag is from the Prima 'Boutique Set'. What do you think of her 'fur' trimmed boots?
Thanks for stopping by today.

Blues Brother Bag
Hi Everyone
Time for another C Thru The Woods DT project, this week using Andrew. As many of your know I also design for A Scrap N Place (my favourite scrapstore in Loveland, CO,) and this is where my love of the guy stamps began. Anyway I was browsing around the store when I discovered this adorable die set, I knew I NEEDED them for my guys. Here is what I came up with.
This black gift bag is from a make-up store, so I used a selection of strips of washi tape to cover up the logo. I hand cut the images, coloured them with ProMarkers and paper pieced the clothes. The only extra touches I needed were the hats and sunglasses.
I used pop-dots behind the guys to give a little more dimension.
I added a title on the other side of the bag, (just in case there is someone who doesn't recognize this duo!)
Thanks for stopping by today, see you next time.

Christmas Cards from Scraps - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - as always Terri thanks for having me. Today I have two cards made up from leftover scraps of paper.
I saw this card on Pinterest, and loved how simple it was. Here is a link to the original card http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/image/card/4079127.html .
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the date and the holly leaves, and then used sequins for the berries.
For my second card I used strips of patterned paper to weave a colourful background for the heart die (from Memory Box).
Here is a close-up and a look at the sentiment inside.
I hope you liked my projects this week - see you next time.

'Phantom' Tag
Hi Everyone
Today I have a new DT project for you using Drake one of the newer guys from C Thru The Woods. Perhaps some of you who have this guy see mainly using him for Halloween, but wait there is so much more to Drake than that.
Here is a tag that I made, isn't he just perfect as the Phantom of the Opera?
I cut the image by hand, paper piecing the clothing. For his cloak I stamped it on shiny black paper and used fine detail black embossing powder so the the detail of the 'fabric' would stand out more. The curtain is a file from from Silhouette studio, and the background paper is from a Recollections pack called 'Steampunk Botanica'.
The rose he is holding is from my stash, originally white and coloured with ProMarkers.
The word 'Phantom' was added using rub-on letters.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my project today, Drake isn't going to far away because I have plans for him for another project next month...stay tuned.
Until next time.

No Peeking Under The ChristmasTree - A Scrap N Place
Hi Everyone
Today I am guest designer over a A Scrap N Place. Of course I just had to play with one of the new Prima dolls that Terri has in store, along with the beautiful 'Believe' Christmas paper by Authentique, (for this project I used the 6x6 paper pad.)
Here are a few close-ups of the card.
Don't you just love the sequin ornaments?
Thanks for taking a peek at my project - see you next time.
