Here is the inside, a computer generated sentiment.

Supplies used:

Black, white, kraft card stock.
Hydrangea Die (Impression Obsession)
Stardust Stickles
Love Stamp and Tag Punch (Stampin' Up)

Thanks for stopping by today - see you next time.

'You Rock' - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create - this week the theme for the challenge is 'Anything Goes.'  Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Chef.  Here is my card.

The image that I have used for this card is called Soapbox - she is coloured with ProMarkers and mounted on some odd background papers from my stash.  I found a few wood veneer embellishments on clearance in M's - just perfect for this image.

A couple of gem embellishments and there you have it.

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you will join us over at LTC for the challenge and check out all the great projects by the DT.

See you next time.

Happy Birthday Tamara

Hi Everyone

Welcome to a very special blog hop to celebrate Tamara's ( the artist from The Stamping Chef ) birthday.   You should have arrived here from Celina's blog, but if you have stumbled here by chance you may want to go back to the beginning at Simply Betty Stamps.

Tamara is a wonderful and very generous artist, and it really is a pleasure to do this for her.  It was so much fun to use the image that Betty ( from Simply Betty Stamps) created especially for her.

Here is a closer look at my card.   I decided to go with some pink hair - just because I've never done it before!

This was such a fun card to make, the papers are from a 6 x 6 stack  from Carta Bella called 'Cool Summer'.  The pearl embellishments are from my stash.

Your next stop along the hop is at Emily's blog.  All that is left for me to say is "Have a Bitchin' birthday Tamara'!

It's Raining Men - DTBST 217

Hi Everyone

Time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge over at Sassy Studios.  This week our challenge is to make a masculine project.  I went with papers that had a more masculine feel to me, and the sentiment is certainly aimed at my husband (and I'm sure is appropriate for a man in your life!)

The paper is just some I had in my stash, I believe originally from CTMH and the brads were found at a dollar store ages ago.  The sentiment is computer generated and the font is called CK School Yard.

So here is what the sentiment reads inside.

Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to check out the projects by the rest of the DT at Sassy Studios and join in with the challenge for a chance to win some sassy images of your own.

Candy Spinner Box - A Scrap N Place

Hi Everyone

Today I am guest designer over at A Scrap N Place - thank you as always Terri for having me.  My project today is a cute little Candy Spinner Box.  I owe a huge thank you to my friend DeAnna from Paper Grandma for making the MTC file for this box, because I was pulling my hair out trying to make this idea work.

The beautiful paper I have used for this project is from Authentique called 'Smitten'. The butterfly is a die from Elizabeth Crafts.

There is a great tutorial for making 'Spinners' here.  This is a video showing the butterfly in action.

All supplies used for this project are available from A Scrap N Place (but you have to provide your own pennies!)

Until next time.

Make it Sparkle with Bling - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Over at Love To Create this week we have a new challenge, and some wonderful new sponsors.  Our sponsors this week are Flourish with a Bling and Sami Stamps.  The theme for this weeks challenge is "make it sparkle with bling."

For my card I got to play with a gorgeous image from Sami Stamps called 'My Sister is a Princess' - I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.  I also received some wonderful bling from FWAB, which if I am honest at first I wasn't sure how to make work with this image.  But this is what I came up with.

The window is a die cut from Memory Box. The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and I added a few punched flowers with a little stickles in the centre.  Does it sparkle enough?

I hope you will check out all the other projects from the DT over at LTC and join us for this weeks challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sassy Studios Spring Fresh Blog Hop

Hi Everyone

Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs Spring Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Chris' blog then you are on the right track, if you have happened here by chance you may want to start back at the beginning at Sassy Studios.

The theme for this blog hop is 'Spring/Fresh' and the challenge to make 'Anything But a Card'.  Lindsay has created some wonderful images for us to create with, and mixed in along the way you will find some of the older images used in a fresh way.  So without further ado let me show you my project.

The image I have used is Patriotic Pin Up Sassy.  She was released last July, and obviously is just perfect for 4th July celebrations, or for Presidents Day (literally just around the corner) - but if you take a look at her in a fresh way, and may be play around with the colours on her clothes she would be a fun image to use on many different projects.

This container (formerly housing vinyl wall art) I have covered in washi tape and added the image on a tag.  Now I will admit to taking some liberties with this image and giving her a little facial hair (so she won't look like this when you see her in the store!)

She was so much fun to colour in orange and black, with a few silver stars (she could almost be a circus ring master!)

I intend to fill the container with a few edible goodies, and this is the label which I put on the lid.

Here is a list of all the blogs on the hop - you won't want to miss any of their fabulous projects.  To be in with a chance of winning some of these sassy images don't forget to leave a little love at each stop along the way.

It's Valentine's Day - DTBST 216

Hi Everyone

Time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday Challenge over at Sassy Studios. This week as we are soooo close to that special day our challenge is to make something for Valentine Day.  I choose to make this Heart Swing/Flip card which is a file from the Silhouette online store, and use Jessica Rabbit Sassy (I just adore her!)

I used the Cameo to print the image on to the purple heart background and then coloured her with ProMarkers.

The paper I used for the base of my card is from DCWV Blackcurrant Stack, I used a few heart brads, and some lips (also a Silhouette on line file) cut from vinyl to finish it of.  The sentiment and the speech bubble are created using the Cameo with Silhouette sketch pens and a Lettering Delights font called 'Printed'.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project.  Come on over to Sassy Studios and join us for the challenge and a chance to win some sassy images of your own.

Until next time.

Heart Pocket

Hi Everyone

Here is my Guest Design Team project for A Scrap N Place This is so simple you could maybe squeeze a few of these in in time for Valentines Day.  This is a heart pocket which I made using my Silhouette Cameo with a file from the Silhouette online store.

You don't need a Cameo machine to make this, simply cut out 2 hearts stick them together on each edge leaving an opening at the top.  Add a little ribbon, lace and some tags and you have a perfect little pocket for giving a gift card or little love note.

Here is a list of products I used:

Designer paper - Authentique Smitten 'Cupid' and 'Written'
Lace
Twine

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today.  See you next time.

Red and/or Pink - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create, and this week we have two new sponsors: Tsunami Rose and Encino Stamps.  The theme for this weeks challenge is 'Red and/or Pink'.

When I saw the papers from Tsunami Rose I literally started to drool, they are gorgeous.  The stamp I have used on this card is called 'Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan Under The Umbrella' (Stamping Bella).

There is so much gorgeous detail in this paper I didn't want to overwhelm the card with too many embellishments, so kept it simple with a couple of doilies and some fabric ribbon roses.

Of course I just had to print off another piece of this paper just to make a matching envelope.

Thanks for checking out my project today.  Please come over and join us for the challenge at LTC, I love seeing all the great projects you create.

See you next time.

Saloon Bar Cowgirl Card - Creative Fingers

Hi Everyone

Today is my last post as DT member for Creative Fingers, and although I am sad to leave I couldn't be more excited about this weeks sponsor The Stamping Chef.  Our challenge is as always is 'Anything Goes' with the added twist of using punches/dies.  I have added the 'twist' to my card, but I wonder if you will recognize what it is.

For my card I used the image Howdy Baby.  Here is the outside of my card.

And when you open up the saloon doors this is what you see.

Of course I had to add a sassy sentiment!  The background paper and the doors are both files from the Silhouette online store.  Did you guess how I added the twist?  I used a star punch to add decoration to the saloon bar doors.

I hope you will join us for the challenge over at Creative Fingers and check out the rest of the projects from the DT.

Until next time.

Stop and Smell The Flowers - DTBST 215

Hi Everyone

It's Thursday, so time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge over at Sassy Studios - the theme this week is 'Stop and Smell The Flowers', (use flowers on your project.)

No card today, instead I have decorated a frame using washi tape, some die cuts, punched flowers and of course a Sassy Studios image (Elizabeth Laura Bennet.)

The frame is in the wood/blanks section of Michael's - costing just $1.00.  Not sure why I bought this in the first place, it's very plain and ugly, but with a little washi tape I feel it is now transformed.  Here is a close up of the die cuts and flowers.

The sentiment is computer generated and is a quote from 'Pride and Prejudice' (my daughters favourite Austen novel.)

I used my Cameo to print n cut the image, and then coloured her with ProMarkers.

I hope you will come over and join us at Sassy Studios for the challenge and a chance to win some sassy images of your own.

Thanks for stopping  by.

Forever and Ever Card

Hi Everyone

Michelle here with another project for A Scrap N Place.   Two weeks for my project I used the 'Sands of Time' stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays, well at the risk of repeating myself I am going to use it again this week (because I love it) and couple it with a new die from the same company called Heart Note.

The paper I used is from Authentique Irresistible line called 'Harmony', and I used the 'Forever and ever' sentiment stamp to stamp underneath the musical notes.

After I cut out the dies in pink card stock, I coloured in the top part of the note with a black alcohol maker.

Here is a list of products I used (available at A Scrap N Place)

Pink and black card stock
Musical designer paper - Authentique Irresistible 'Harmony'
Stamp - CAS-ual Fridays 'Sands of Time'
Die - CAS-ual Fridays 'Heart Note'
Pink and black check ribbon

See you next time.

Happy Birthday Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today is a very special day over at Love To Create - it is our 2nd Anniversary!!!  Well that calls for a celebration!  Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps, and the challenge is 'Birthday/Celebration'.

I decided to use my image in a slightly different way this week, and decorate a party banner.  Sorry the photos looks so washed out, the close ups further down show the colours much better.

The image I used is 'Cupcake - Cherry On Top' - well you can't have a celebration without a cupcake can you????  The papers I used are from a very old paper pack from American Crafts, and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.

Here is a closer look at a couple of the letter which I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.

Here is a closer look at the image again.  You can see I have used some pop-dots to give it dimension, as well as stickles and a little glossy accents on the cherry.

Thanks for stopping by today, I really hope you will join in this challenge we have 3 prizes up for grabs.  Head on over to LTC to check out the details and see what the rest of the team have been up to.

See you next time.
