Just to say....THANK YOU and SHARING IS NOT ALWAYS A GOOD THING

Hi Everyone

Today I wanted to do a 'shout out' to a few artists who are more than generous with their artwork.  I want to mention 3 in particular, but I'm sure there are many more out there, I just have been fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of their generosity.

The owner of Simply Betty Stamps, Betty runs a 'Facebook Fan Page Challenge' each month and has previously given, or made a very small charge for one of her beautiful digital images.  Here is my card with her image 'Mercedes Witch'.

She was such fun to colour - thank you Betty.

This is a card that I made with a free image from The Stamping Chef - Tamara, (the artist) gives away a free image each week so that you can take part in the challenge on Facebook.

This was actually picked as the winning card, and so I got to pick another Stamping Chef Image from the store for free.  This is what I did with this weeks image.  Thank you Tamara.

Last but not least I want to give a 'shout out' to Sassy Studio Designs - Lindsay (the artist) gives out a free image (sometimes 3!!!) each month on Paper Craft Planet to take part in the monthly progressive challenge.  Here is the card I made as a member of the DT for this month.  Thank you Lindsay.

All that these artists ask is that you use the image to create a project (having fun while doing it!) post a picture of it and NOT GIVE AWAY THE IMAGE.  I think that is a small price to pay.  Thank you once again ladies for your generosity.

Until next time.

What Makes You Happy - Creative Fingers Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today I have  a DT card for the Creative Fingers Challenge Blog - the challenge is 'Anything Goes' and this month we are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles.

Here is my card.

Delicious Doodles has some gorgeous images to choose from, and I loved colouring this one, as always I used my trusty ProMarkers.  The background paper is from Authentique, the butterflies and flowers are made using die cuts from Cheery Lynn Dies. The sentiment is from a stamp by The Angel Company.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

  1. ABC Challenges - Colouring with Markers
  2. Imagination-Crafts Challenges - Butterflies
  3. Craft Creations - Butterflies
  4. Through The Purple Haze - Dies

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you will take a look at all the great projects that the DT has come up with over at Creative Fingers, and join us for the challenge - there are some great prizes up for grabs.

Dude That's Funny - The Crafter's Cafe Challenge

Hi Everyone

Today there is a new challenge over at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog (TCCCB) - the theme is 'Dude That's Funny.'  Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi - they have so many wonderfully funny stamps to choose from.  Here is my card using 'Salon Deidry'.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and  the background papers are printed from Silhouette online files using my Cameo.  The sentiment is actually a stamp from Art Impressions (Girlfriends Stamps).

I hope you will check out all the projects from the DT and come and join us for the challenge over at TCCCB.

Until next time.

Celebrate Grandparents Day - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today over at Love To Create our challenge is 'Celebrate Grandparents Day', our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps.  They have some really cute stamps, and the image I chose to create with is called 'Kidz Girl With Heart.'

I coloured my image with ProMarkers, and the background papers are from K & Company 'Cupid Specialty Pack'.  The 'Heart on a Bow' die is from Memory Box.  This card is very specifically for my daughters to give to their grandma, who for the longest time they have called 'G-ma'.

I also took the die and used it to decorate the inside of the card.  The sentiments are drawn with the Cameo using the Silhouette sketch pens.

Thanks for stopping by today - I hope you check out all the DT projects over at Love To Create and join us for the challenge.

Until next time.

Back To School - Love To Create

Hi Everyone

Today the card I made for the Love To Create 'Back to School' challenge, is using a beautiful image from our sponsor Simply Betty Stamps.  This image is called 'Artist London' and is available here.

The paper that I used is an old pack from Close To My Heart (sorry I don't remember the name of it.) The roses and leaves are made with dies from Cheery Lynn, and the blue bow around the top corner is a die from Memory Box.

I cut my image using my Cameo (print 'n' cut) and coloured her with ProMarkers.  I added the sentiment on the canvas using my Cameo and the Silhouette sketch pens.

I made this card for my daughter who recently graduated university and is starting her first job in WA, (a long way from us in Colorado.)  So although this is not a 'Back To School' card I feel that it would be appropriate given the rest of the sentiment inside.)

I finished up the project with a matching envelope.

Thought I would also enter this into:
  1. Simply Challenged Challenge - Something for a teacher.

Thanks for stopping by, take a look at all the DT projects over on Love To Create and join us for the challenge.

Bon Voyage Girly!

Hi Everyone

Today I have a card which I made for 2 challenges.  Sassy Studios is sponsoring two challenges, the first is from Left of Center - the theme for this challenge is 'Girly'.  The second challenge is from Crafts 4 Eternity - the theme for this is 'Time to Go/Travel'.  Here is my card.

The image that I have used is France Honey, she is cut using the Cameo and coloured with ProMarkers.  The papers I used for the card are from the 'Be Mine' paper stack (Echo Park).

The swirl and flowers are made using various die cuts from Cheery Lynn dies.

Once again I took a piece of matching card stock and made an envelope.

Thanks for looking at my project today, don't forget to pop over to Sassy Studio and check out the rest of the projects from the DT.

Until next time.
