'Fortunate' (LTC - Stitchy Bear)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new challenge over at Love To Create, and this week we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps.  Our theme this week is to 'Add Some Lines' - I have to admit I was rather scratching my head over this one for a different way of adding those lines.  This is what I came up with.

This image is called 'Geisha Girl' by Alipeeps.  I kept the colour scheme to blues and grey, and used strips of paper to add some lines to the background.

The sentiment stamp is from my stash, originally purchase I believe from M's and the background paper is from K & Company.

Sketch It Up (DTBST #246)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday challenge over at Sassy Studio Designs.  This week the challenge is to use this sketch.

Here is the card I made using Olaf the snowman.

The background paper for this is from and old DCWV Christmas stack.  The silver background I ran through a snowflake embossing folder and mounted the image on an action wobble spring.

I added a couple of swirls (Impression Obsession Die), some snowflakes (Martha Stewart Punch) and of course a little 'bling'.

Hot Under The Collar Guys (Part 2)

May Your Day Bloom With Happiness

Hi Everyone

For our new challenge today over at Love To Create we have 3 terrific sponsors A Day For Daisies, Flourish With A Bling and Yours or Mine Paper Crafts.  This week the theme for our challenge is "Flowers and Stitching".  I was so lucky to get to create with this beautiful new image from ADFD, she is called 'Aloha Petals'.

The background paper I have had in my stash for ages, and the sentiment is from a SU set called 'Blooming With Happiness'.

I made the poppy using the Britannia Rose die - there is a great video tutorial for it here.

The image is coloured with ProMarkers, and I added the faux stitching around the edge.

Buttons and Bows (DTBST #245)

Hi Everyone

Time for a new Dare To Be Sassy Thursday (DTBST) challenge over at Sassy Studio Designs. The theme for the challenge this week is  is 'Buttons and Bows' - here is my card.

This image is Scarecrow Sassy, and was part of the 'Wizard of Oz' release last year.  The sentiment is also one of the Sassy Studios Sentimints.

My image is coloured with ProMarkers, and the background paper is from Quick Quotes Scrapbook Co.  Here is a look at the inside.

Did you spot the 'button' I used on the project?  It's actually a tiny button brad that I coloured with my ProMarkers to match her outfit.

I had so much fun creating this card.  I used my Cameo to print n cut the image, and then coloured him with ProMarkers.

The sentiment is computer generated, and the motor bike is a file from Silhouette.

Pop into the store, and maybe you can pick up a guy or two of your own.  Terri is going to give me a hard time for that last sentence, but I meant 'guy stamps'!!!!!!
